OVERVIEW ON THE DESIGN OF THE SERVICE AND MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR FIELD GEOLOGICAL SURVEY BASED ON THE REMOTE SENSING AND BEIDOU SATELLITES

  • In this paper, the service and management system for field geological survey developed by combining domestic remote sensing satellites with Beidou navigation and positioning satellite technology was discussed. Positioning and real-time communication to the personnel in field geological survey can be achieved through the hand-held terminal to guarantee their safety. Management, command and emergency rescue for field geological survey can be accomplished through field survey situation analysis, operation route administration and the spatial information display platform. According to the management characteristics of field geological survey, and based on the grid pattern design, six kinds of nodes were set up including operation management center node, remote sensing data service center node, professional application center node, regional center node, field station node and mobile node. The operation management center node and remote sensing data service center node were unitary, while the others were multi-node design. The construction standards for various types of nodes were established being favor of the promotion and application of the system in future. The system has a good application prospect in improving the efficiency of geological survey, strengthening security of field operators and raising the level of geological information management.
