Journal of Geomechanics (Printed ISSN: 1006-6616), started in 1995, is a bimonthly scientific journal publishing high quality original articles from across geomechnics. It is supervised by China Geological Survey and sponsored by the Institute of Geomechnics, Chinese Academy of Geomechanics. It developed from Geomechanics Collection which was started by J.S.Lee (Li Siguang, who originated Geomechnics Theory in China) in 1959. With the duty to “Carrying forward J.S.Lee’s academic thoughts; Seeking truth, innovation and development”, this journal aims to display and spread the scientific research achievements in geomechanics.
